On East End Visioning Project
If you are interested in helping create and participating in
a local resident, property owner, local stakeholder-driven
group of people to do grass roots organizing for this
effort—this is your meeting!
Continue and increase local East End/East Newark
input into and ownership of this process. The focus of the
group is to get these meetings organized, publicized, and to
make sure everyone in the East End/East Newark area that
needs to be involved in this, is involved. Initially at
least, this citizen group is a six month effort.
The initial meeting of this group will be from
8:00 p.m.
until
9:15 p.m.
at Last Call Outreach,
283 East Main Street
. Key items to be discussed will be the site for the August
preliminary results meeting; publicity for the August
meeting—what to do and who does it and who pays for it;
transfer of local resident/stakeholder e-mail and address
list from Dr. Sandin to group; initial leadership for group;
review of the current fundraising status for the Visioning
Project and an outliner of the October 2007- December 2008
“pre-development” phase of the project by Dr. Sandin.
Anyone from
Faith
Church
is invited to attend this meeting. This project could very
well affect
Faith
Church
in a positive way and it would be nice to see representation
from our church at this meeting.
